Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS)
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is intended to help students disadvantaged by social, economic, educational, or linguistic barriers get the resources needed to enroll and succeed at Evergreen Valley College. The mission of EOPS is to provide increased access to financial, academic and student support services to eligible students seeking a vocational certificate, associate degree or transfer opportunity to a college or university.
EOPS provides priority registration, book vouchers, counseling (academic and career), graduation regalia, transfer services, a dedicated support staff, and more.

Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) Program
CARE is a subprogram of EOPS and is designed to help students who are single parents pursuing higher education.
In addition to EOPS benefits, CARE provides grants, school supplies, transportation assistance, meal vouchers, and so much more.
To be eligible for CARE services you must:
- Meet all EOPS requirements
- Be a parent and at least 18 years of age
- Be a single head of household
- Have at least one dependent child under the age of 14
- Be receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), benefits
