San José – Evergreen Community College District consists of Evergreen Valley College (EVC), San José City College, and the Milpitas College Extension. Our District’s core values of Opportunity, Equity, and Social Justice are reflected in all that we do to advance our educational mission.
As a comprehensive community college District, SJECCD offers transfer and career education programs, as well as customized training to meet our mission of providing academic opportunities and workforce development for current jobs as well as jobs of the future. The District and EVC have many local partners in business, technology, and other fields in order to provide industry-driven curriculum and programs. Evergreen Valley College has adopted many high-impact practices known to deepen student engagement in the college experience.
