Open Computer Lab
The mission of the Open Computer Lab Services is to enable students to improve their academic performance and enhance their educational experience by engaging in student-centered learning activities. In an atmosphere carefully structured to be conducive to learning and meeting the individual student’s academic goals, the student can take advantage of a myriad of instructional activities and learning tools.
The open computer lab provides free digital learning environment equipped with commonly used technology. Students can use 60 computers with MS Office, other software, and fast internet connection; printers and scanner are also provided. The open lab has a station with adaptive technology for students with disabilities. The services are on a first come first serve basis. Staff and tutors are available to provide computer-related help individually or in a group setting for students in need.
The Open Computer Lab is located on the ground floor of the Library/Technology Building LE-200. Fall and Spring semester hours are Mondays-Thursdays from 8 am-5 pm and Fridays from 8 am-1 pm. For more information, please call (408) 274-7900, ext. 6333 or visit our webpage.
