Administrative Procedure 4226

If a class overlaps 10 minutes or more, than the student needs to complete the Class Conflict Petition Form

A student may not enroll in two or more sections of the same credit course if a class is in progress at any given time.

A student may not enroll in two or more courses where the meeting times for the courses overlap, unless:

• The student provides a valid justification, other than scheduling convenience, of the need for an overlapping schedule.
• The student makes up the overlapping hours at some other time during the same week under the support of the instructor of the course.

Order of approval for an overlapping schedule:

1. Instructors
2. Division Dean
